I Told You!!!

Well, well, well, it looks like Alabama Crimson Tide will be playing for the BCS Championship just as I predicted. Even though, we had to beat "An old dead dog" to get there. The No.3 Georgia Bulldogs proved to not be enough to stop the Tide, no really, they could not stop them. Two of the Alabama's running-backs combined for over 400 rushing yards to bring home the victory. Still, the war is not yet won. Next, on the chopping block is the Neck of No.1 Notre Dame and no luck of any Irishman will change the out come of that game sorry, but not sorry. Roll Tide!!     

Oh Yeahh!!

This weekend the former No.1 Kansas State and the former No.2 Organ Ducks fell from the BCS title race. Alabama Crimson Tide fans like myself already foreseen this very pleasing prediction. The SEC is well on their way back to the Championship against the now No.1 Notre Dame, but I am certain we are not afraid of the "Losing Irish." Our current rank is No.2 however we will take the "W" and the glory. Let's Go!! Roll Tide!!

Nov. 15

The focus of this paper is to acknowledged the negative stereotyping in reality television. African Americans are one of the main victims of stereotypical judgement. I would like for people to understand that yes, stereotypes come from some truth, but should not be applied to everyone of the specific race. For example, "All black people like chicken." However, a single African American vegetarian is enough to make that entire phrase false and that is my point exactly. I would only like to provide truth not false accusations. 

Nov. 13

Good note taking and creating an vivid outline will provide great organization for writing a research paper. Even though, I have not written a research paper since freshman year, I believe that I have retained some information from my previous class. I was taught that it is better to have more than what you need than less, so having plenty of sources will also contribute to writing a good research paper. 

Pop Culture

The Kansas City Chiefs are now 1-8 after a lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But, I can't say they did not have a chance. As the Steelers usually do they used thier "Home field Advantage" to cheat by taken one of the two touchdowns away from them. However, Kansas City shot themselves in the foot by having a little to much fun in the endzone, which made the refs take the other one. My advice is calm down and eliminate turnovers maybe you could win something.

Nov. 8

In "Writing About Pop Culture" I have identified that I have written six type of essays mentioned within the text. However, for my final essay I will be using the research method. I will be writing a research paper, because they are great at combining the information that I collect from my sources with the point that I want to display to the reader. Also, this method allows you to research the positive and the negative of your topic, which ultimately contributes to your ultimate goal of convincing your reader that your argument is the correct one.   

Retreat

This weekend was a lot nothing. My whole apartment complex was partying but I didn't even leave my living room. I had other planes, like eating and sleeping. However, My girlfriend cooked a wonderful Suday dinner.

Oct. 23

One of the sources that I have found that I will be using, is a book that discusses the damages as well as explains how and why a person might commit adultery. I have also found this source through the MTSU library data base like some of my peers. I think my source is reliable and I should be using it in my annotated bibliography.  

Oct. 11

I'm not sure if the source I have is even a source at all. Nonetheless, It dose relate to my topic. I found it on a Vh1 website and it describes the reality television show that I am covering to the tee. This is why I am considering using it, but I need more.

Citations

To be honest, I never had to deal with citations until I came to college. Crazy right? Three years of high school and I have only written three papers while there. I do not entirely understand citations, but I retained a little information from my freshman year of college. Hopefully, I will improve this second go around.  

Recovery

I went home for fall break and it was just the trip I needed. Lately, I have been slacking; its like I slightly lost contact with my purpose. Seeing my mother helped me refocus. It reminded me that I am here for a reason and that reason is to get better. I surprised myself with how I became so inconsistent. However, after this week is over I will return Monday with the original mind state I had when I first entered college. Its not a fresh start but a new beginning.  

Short Comings

Well, homecoming weekend did not entirely go how I planned. Matter of fact, it was a wast of money. Standing in the cold only to get to the front of the line to be charged thirty dollars!! Which, I did not pay. Now, the thought of going to any party makes me gag. I rather spend those nights with a female that can put a smile on my face. So, it dose not matter who's hosting or what weekend I am not going.

Backdoor Little Joe

It's safe to say that last Friday was not the kind of attention we wanted for our household. The police randomly showed up at my door step the first time with a complaint about the music being to loud but then shortly  returned for a second time with a new purpose and that purpose was my African friend Nizzer. It was a set up! He was now identified and ready to be captured but not necessarily. With them only being able to ask for him to exit but not to enter gave him time for a lack of better words to disappear. I wounder where he went?

Fever

Today a simple meal could have single handly alter my life, lol but I was able to bounce back with help from a friend.
